It just seems to insist that the screen needs an overdose of red. The strange thing is that when adjusting the white point, starting from a setting where the screen looks perfectly neutral to the eye, the software indicates that I have WAY too little red and way too much green. With the X-rite software I got a slightly less green mouse pointer when I used the Custom Color preset. I tried basICColor display 4 and the X-rite Eye-One Match 3 software. I tried other calibration software now, which got me pretty much the same result. My mouse pointer just happens to turn light green after calibration. All calibration attempts gave a uniform red cast over the entire screen (no gradient). Before I tried to calibrate my U2410 there was no cast whatsoever (maybe an extremely subtle one).
